Seymour House
Located in the Southern Highlands, Seymour House is a luxurious retreat steeped in history. Originally built in the early 1900s as the residence of an old dairy farm, this 3,500 sqm property now offers an elegant country living experience and serves as a stunning venue for bespoke events. Owned and styled by Georgia Ashdown and husband, Alexander Watts, the property embodies provincial farmhouse charm with a contemporary twist.
“TradCo was the perfect choice for incorporating classic and traditional elements into the home’s design”
Georgia has created a house that is rustic and modern all at once. Inspired by the region’s signature style, Georgia has created an updated and curated space where nothing feels tired or run down. Vintage pieces such as lamps, record players and frames, along with antique furnishings, infuse the space with personality and character. The use of TradCo hardware perfectly complements this aesthetic, providing a traditional and classic touch.
TradCo’s Rim lock, Victorian Levers and Window Fittings were selected in Polished Brass. This finish works particularly well in the home, adding warmth and sophistication. These meticulously crafted hardware pieces not only enhance the home’s authenticity but also contributes to its overall charm making Seymour House an accommodation standout.
